Leonard HVAC didn't start as a franchise chasing volume. We invest in ongoing training so our techs recognize a failing capacitor, a cracked heat exchanger, or a refrigerant leak before it turns into an emergency.
We're not the biggest name in Union Furnace — we're the crew that answers the phone at 2am when your furnace quits in the middle of a cold snap. Every job we run is backed by full liability coverage and current state licensing, and we keep that documentation available on request for every job, big or small.
Being local matters more than most companies let on. That local knowledge shapes the parts we stock on the truck — it's the difference between a tech who's guessing and a tech who's seen your exact situation a hundred times before.
Too many homeowners in Union Furnace have a story about a tech who showed up late, quoted one price, and charged another. That's the gap we built Leonard HVAC to close. We track arrival windows, callback rates, and repeat-issue complaints internally so problems get caught before they become patterns, because a customer who trusts us once tends to call us again — and Union Furnace is a small enough community that reputation travels fast.
Our office team is based locally too, not routed through an out-of-state call center that's never seen a Union Furnace rooftop unit. Our warranty and service history records stay attached to your address, so any future technician who visits already has the full picture.
We cover the full range of heating, cooling, and air quality work Union Furnace properties actually need.
When your Ac Installation system fails without warning, waiting days for an appointment isn't an option. Our Union Furnace dispatch team sends the closest available truck first so a technician is diagnosing your system as fast as physically possible.
Once a technician is on-site, the goal is always a same-visit repair — most emergency calls in Union Furnace get resolved in a single trip, not a multi-day back-and-forth.
If your unit is past its expected service life, running loud, or spiking your utility bill, a replacement conversation is worth having. We walk Union Furnace homeowners through load calculations so the new system is sized correctly for the actual square footage before a single piece of equipment gets ordered.
Most installs in Union Furnace are completed in a single day, and we walk you through the new thermostat and any app controls before we leave.
Downtime in a commercial space costs money every hour a system is offline. Our commercial division services rooftop units and package systems across Union Furnace, with after-hours work to avoid disrupting business.
Our commercial techs are trained to work around your customers and staff, scheduling noisy or disruptive work outside peak hours whenever possible.
Preventive maintenance is the cheapest repair you'll ever pay for, because it's the one that prevents the bigger bill. Beyond standard tune-ups, we also handle duct cleaning and sealing to stop conditioned air from leaking into attics and crawlspaces for Union Furnace households that want more than just temperature control.
We'll show you photos of anything concerning we find, along with a plain-language explanation of what it means and whether it's urgent.
We'd rather set clear expectations upfront than make vague promises we can't back up.
Every repair comes with a workmanship warranty explained in plain terms before we leave.
Emergency dispatch never comes with a hidden surcharge sprung on you after the fact.
Our office follows up after major repairs and installs to confirm everything is holding.
Most breakdowns don't happen without warning — they announce themselves for weeks before the system actually quits.
A healthy system runs with a consistent, low hum — banging, screeching, or grinding usually points to a loose part or failing motor.
Weak airflow from the vents often traces back to a clogged filter, a failing blower motor, or leaking ductwork.
A system working harder than it should to hit the same temperature shows up directly on your utility bill.
This is one of the warning signs we recommend not waiting on.
A burning smell should never be ignored — it can indicate an electrical issue that needs immediate attention.
If you're calling about the same problem every few months, the underlying cause likely hasn't been fully addressed.
We explain diagnostic fees and repair estimates before authorizing work.
Emergency calls get moved to the front of the line automatically.
Parts and labor are backed by warranty terms explained in plain language.
We run background checks because you're letting someone into your home.
We explain what failed, why it failed, and what the options are.

"Our restaurant's rooftop unit went down on a Friday night and they had someone out fast. Now our go-to for every property in the portfolio."
"I appreciated that they didn't try to sell me a bigger unit than I needed. My energy bill dropped noticeably the first month with the new system."
"The tech walked me through what he was checking as he went, which I really appreciated. No overnight surcharge shock — the price matched what dispatch quoted me on the phone."
After thousands of service calls across Union Furnace, a handful of causes show up again and again.
The shift between peak heating and peak cooling demand is exactly when older or neglected equipment tends to fail. Before the coldest stretch of the year, a heating system benefits from a full safety inspection, checking the heat exchanger, ignition system, and airflow to catch any issue that could turn into a no-heat emergency.
Simple habits between professional visits also matter. None of this replaces a professional tune-up, but it does reduce the wear that leads to premature breakdowns between visits.
We also service package units common on manufactured and modular homes throughout the Union Furnace area. If your system was installed by a different company entirely, that's not a problem — we service equipment regardless of who originally put it in, and we'll pull the model and serial information to confirm parts compatibility before any repair begins.
Every tech on our Union Furnace roster goes through background checks, licensing verification, and ongoing manufacturer training.
